    HVAC General Manager - Residential Mechanical Service - Base Salary to 160k/year - Stamford, CT

    • Our client is a new residential mechanical servicing company handling service, installation, and maintenance, has an immediate need for an HVAC General Manager to oversee operations of their Stamford, Connecticut branch and a territory to Greenwich. They are a continually growing company, and they are looking for an HVAC General Manager to help build out the territory.

    Responsibilities:

    • In this position, the HVAC General Manager should have a background in leading teams and a background in operations is helpful for this role. The HVAC General Manager will be largely responsible for growing the team and adding technicians. Then the HVAC General Manager will build the business organically through sales, expanding the residential business, and growing geography. They will lead key client relationships, grow sales, answer technical questions, and handle the administrative functions of the branch, including P&L. They will also be responsible for creating the vision for the office, helping to devise creative solutions to grow divisions, and building team unity. The HVAC General Manager may also have to "roll up their sleeves" at times and help out the team.

    Qualifications:

    • The ideal candidate for this position will possess 6+ years of experience in HVAC with leadership skills (residential or commercial). The candidate should be independent, self- motivated, and driven to take complete ownership over their role. They candidate should also be interested in building a business from the ground up and growing a team. They should possess strong organizational and customer service skills. They should also be willing to dive in with the team and help out if the team needs.

    Compensation:

    • Our client is offering a base salary up to 160k/year, and a lucrative annual bonus structure depending on the performance of the branch. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, PTO and much more.
