    Job Summary: The HVAC Sales & Service Technician plays a critical role in driving the growth of our startup HVAC business by creating early momentum in delivering exceptional service and building lasting customer relationships. This individual will primarily focus on diagnosing, repairing, and servicing HVAC systems while promoting sales of maintenance plans, system upgrades, and replacements. The position also includes occasional installations, when necessary, with a reduced emphasis on routine maintenance. Meeting and exceeding individual and company KPIs is a key responsibility.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Services, repairs, and/or proposes replacement of gas furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, electric furnaces, packaged terminal units, ductless split systems, humidification, and dehumidification equipment, electronic air cleaners, and air purification systems, residential control systems to include zoning systems.

    Serves the company's clients by expertly servicing, repairing, heating, and air conditioning systems.

    Evaluate systems post-service to ensure optimal functionality and customer satisfaction.

    Educate customers on their HVAC systems, providing multiple options and cost-benefit analyses for repairs, upgrades, or replacements.

    Propose and sell Comfort Club, and Heroes Club memberships.

    Propose and sell Indoor Air Quality

    Propose and present financing options.

    Propose and present extended warranty options.

    Accurately document all work, including services performed, parts used, and customer discussions, ensuring proper records for follow-up and reporting.

    Debriefs service calls with dispatch after each service call or completes online job summary as requested.

    Turns in all parts receipts, packing slips, contracts, and invoices daily.

    Wears floor savers while working in client homes.

    Maintains company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out.

    Always maintains a professional image by wearing only company-approved and provided One Hour apparel.

    Adhere to all company safety protocols and industry standards.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of 5 years of technical expertise in residential HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.

    Excellent customer service and communication skills, focusing on building trust and delivering value.

    Proven ability to meet sales & service targets and KPIs.

    EPA certification.

    Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen.

    Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    Preferred:

    NATE Certification.

    3+ years of outside sales experience.

    Bilingual English and Spanish Communication skills.

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that require climbing, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.

    Working in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and noise.
