Position Overview:

We’re seeking a results-oriented Operations Manager who is looking for that next step in their career. This individual is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing technicians, dispatching, managing inventory, monitoring costs, and maintaining client relationships to ensure positive online reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management

a. Oversee day-to-day HVAC operations, including service, installation, and maintenance.

b. Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.

c. Schedule and allocate jobs to technicians, ensuring timely project completion.

d. Monitor project progress and address any operational issues.

2. Team Leadership & Development

a. Promote a positive “can do” work culture

b. Supervise, mentor, and support HVAC technicians and staff.

c. Conduct training programs to enhance skills and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

d. Manage hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of HVAC team members.

3. Customer Service & Client Relations

a. Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure positive reviews

b. Handle escalated customer complaints and provide solutions promptly.

c. Assist in sales efforts by identifying new business opportunities and upselling services.

4. Financial & Budget Management

a. Monitor department expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations.

b. Assist in developing and managing budgets for the HVAC department.

c. Analyze financial reports and adjust strategies for profitability.

5. Safety & Compliance a. Ensure all HVAC operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations. b. Enforce workplace safety policies and OSHA standards c. Keep up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices

Requirements:

1. At least 5 years of HVAC experience

2. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating teams

3. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

4. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, operations, and industry best practices

5. Experience leading and managing a team

6. Drive business growth

7. Ability to handle customer relations

8. Proficiency in Service Titan is a plus
