Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair issues in residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and thermostats.

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

• Install replacement components and complete system upgrades as needed.

• Communicate clearly with customers about service issues, estimated costs, and work performed.

• Complete all required paperwork and documentation for each job accurately and on time.

• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices through ongoing training and development.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or HVAC certification preferred.

• EPA Certification (Type I & II or Universal) required.

• 2+ years of experience in residential HVAC service and repair.

• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and overtime.

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in residential settings, both indoors and outdoors.

• Exposure to varying weather conditions and temperature extremes.

• Use of hand and power tools, ladders, and protective equipment required.

• Physical demands include standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in confined spaces.
