  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems across multiple locations. This role involves troubleshooting electrical and mechanical HVAC components, ensuring compliance with ASHRAE standards , and performing preventative maintenance to keep systems running efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities

    • HVAC System Maintenance & Repair: Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, motors, relays, pumps, heaters, fans, chillers, and large-scale air handlers.
    • Preventive Maintenance: Monitor HVAC systems and perform scheduled maintenance to prevent malfunctions.
    • Ductwork & Piping Installation: Install HVAC ductwork (flexible tubing and sheet metal) and fuel/water supply lines.
    • Refrigerant Handling: Install, conserve, and recycle CFC and HCFC refrigerants.
    • Electrical & Control Systems: Install and repair electrical connections , breaker panels, transformers, switch gears, and building automation systems.
    • Blueprint & Code Compliance: Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and safety codes for HVAC installations.
    • Emergency Availability: Must be available 24/7/365 for emergency response and urgent repairs.
    • Field Communication & Logging: Utilize radio systems for job coordination and maintain detailed logs of materials, work orders, and labor hours.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Valid Freon license (CFC).
    • HVAC technical training + 3 years of experience ; OR

    U.S. Military HVAC training + 3 years of experience ; OR

    5+ years of documented HVAC experience.

    Competencies & Skills

    • Strong knowledge of HVAC safety, electrical systems, and troubleshooting.
    • Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC and building automation systems.
    • Skilled in using hand and power tools for HVAC installations and repairs.
    • Ability to lift up to 150 lbs, work in confined spaces, and operate at heights.
    • Comfortable working in adverse weather conditions and emergency situations.
    • Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

    Salary info:

    $27.16 - $27.16 / hr
