Hae CPG is a Brooklyn-based supply chain consulting agency for emerging beauty and CPG brands. Since its launch in 2020, Hae CPG has collaborated with brands in the beauty, personal care, haircare, and consumer product spaces. Clients have included Susteau, Crown Affair, Kovo Essentials, Kulfi Beauty, Quiet Town Home, and more.

From product conception to the doorstep of customers – we specialize in laying down the foundation of a brand's business and executing their ideas, so they can focus on their number one priority – growth. We support brands across all operational functionalities, including inventory planning and management, vendor correspondence, production flow management, sales operations, and DTC and B2B fulfillment. In short, we help brand make, ship, and sell their products.

LOCATION

We are based in Brooklyn, NY; however, this role will be mostly remote. This role may require occasional travel to meet with the founder and client offices/warehouses around the NYC area.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Hae CPG is seeking an Operations Assistant to support an exciting new stage of the company and a fast-growing client roster of CPG brands.

The Operations Assistant will primarily assist the Founder/CEO across projects and working relationships with clients across supply chain, inventory flow and allocation, QC, sourcing, DTC and B2B fulfillment and logistics, vendor relationship management, product launch strategy, and customer experience. There may also be support needed for content production and website management. 

You must be both a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a team player that is willing to roll up your sleeves believing that ‘no task is too big or too small. The role requires exceptional business acumen and analytical abilities, as well as excellent communication and relationship building skills. You must be flexible and quickly adaptable, as the needs of the business can quickly evolve.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will fill a pivotal role as we prepare for the next stage of the business and scale. You will work directly with our Founder + CEO to support our roster of clients and Hae CPG's key growth initiatives.

You must be excited about working in a startup with the ability to approach growth like an entrepreneur - this role will have freedom to innovate, and you will have significant impact on the overall growth of the business and the culture and the company.

• Assist Founder/CEO in fostering and managing client relationships and work scope, along with Hae CPG's growth initiatives
• Handle day-to-day correspondence with clients' vendors, retail partners supply chain partners
• Monitor daily flow of each client's supply chain across production, retail orders and distribution, e-commerce orders, logistics and warehousing, inventory, customer experience
• Assist with sourcing and cultivating relationships with vendors across packaging, transportation, warehousing, merchandise, and manufacturing
• Research and stay up-to-date with trends across consumers, products, CPG industries and supply chain
• Collaborate with Founder/CEO to produce engaging content and strategy for the Hae CPG website and social media accounts and optimize customer experience, develop best practices that encourages customer acquisition and retention

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1+ years in retail/CPG industry, preferably within an operational function
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multi-task– must be able to keep up with multiple clients, timelines, launches, purchase orders simultaneously and with accuracy
• The ability to blend creativity and data to strategize the best, efficient, innovative outcomes
• Both a dynamic self-starter and a team player with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently without handholding as needed
• An agile, resourceful problem solver that can adapt within a constantly evolving business
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to new circumstances
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and prioritizes relationship building
• Competency in Microsoft platforms (Excel, Powerpoint, Word), Google platforms, project management tools and the ability to quickly master and implement new applications and systems, experience in Shopify a plus but can be taught
• Experience with Squarespace, content production, social media a plus but not required
• Passion for working in a startup environment and leading change
