Job Summary We are seeking a positive, friendly Salon Coordinator to provide exceptional service to our salon guests. The coordinator will assist guests with the check-in and check-out processes, coordinate salon services, and process payments. Responsibilities also include maintaining communication with salon staff to coordinate appointment availability, answering guest inquiries, and completing guest service tickets promptly and accurately. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to stay positive even when faced with challenging situations. Your goal is to provide guests with an exceptional customer service experience.
Responsibilities
Monitor the maintain knowledge of salon operations and activities
Take reservations and answer questions via phone, email, and in-person
Build rapport with guests and identify their needs through friendly conversation and open-ended questions
Describe the features and amenities of salon
Ensure compliance with health and quality standards
Assist with photography for guest services as needed. (Training provided)
Social Media assistance
Product sales (Training Provided)
Qualifications
Friendly and outgoing personality
Familiarity with salon and hospitality industry standards
Proficient in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
Computer literacy
Able to resolve issues with a customer-focused orientation
Able to lift 30 pounds
Prior salon experience/knowledge is a must. Must be open to constructive feedback and regular coaching to ensure knowledge within position. Training provided.
