Salary Expectations
Salary maximum is as an example of a client getting a cut and color , in two hours and charging $110 total for the service. A more or less expensive would effect the total earnings per hour.
Salary can be paid in different ways. The employee can choose which method they prefer at hire. It can be hourly plus commission and tips for example if a stylist chooses hourly plus and they do a cut and color retouch on a customer in a 2 hour time period ($110 service minimum charge) they would get $15 per hour plus a commission of $11 and then a customer tipped them $20 (20%) in that 2 hour period they would earn $30.50 per hour If the stylist chose to be paid only the 50% commission on the same service and the tip remained the same the stylist would earn a total of $75 dollars or a total of $37.50 per hour. The stylist can also choose to change to straight commission, plus tips when they think they're ready. A more expensive service would result in a higher hourly wage. Tips could be available for assisting other stylists.
10% commission will be paid on all retail products sold.
