Job Summary

Fantastic Sams (FS) is a family salon, so we are looking for hair stylists that love cutting, coloring, and styling hair for all ages, while keeping clients fully satisfied! Our goal is to provide excellent service to each guest. From kids to seniors and everyone in between, we have a loyal client base with new clients joining the FS family daily – largely because of the great client experience provided by our stylists. We are looking for someone who also strives to provide exceptional service.

Our team of stylists can benefit from ongoing training to keep up to date on the latest styles and trends. We provide flexibility, growth, and opportunities for increased pay.

Responsibilities

Evaluate customers’ face shape, hair features, and any personal preferences to recommend appropriate haircuts, hair color, and hairstyles, as requested

Wash hair at hair-washing stations with appropriate products

Apply hair treatment products

Execute flawless service

Apply highlights, ombre, balayage, and other hair coloring techniques

Be open to learning

Provide customers with a wide range of hair styling options, from formal to casual.

Desired experience and qualifications

A valid cosmetology license

Ability to work a flexible schedule

Strong communication skills

Industry passion

Successful completion of a cosmetology school is required

Proven experience as a stylist, hairdresser, or similar role is preferred

In-depth skill and knowledge of hair cutting and coloring techniques and best practices

Familiar with a variety of hair products
