The successful candidate will support the Department of Defense in the development of modeling and analytical simulation capabilities in the Space domain. Typical projects involve building and integrating physics-based models into AFSIM, developing scenarios to test new concepts, and enabling and performing analysis of space-based systems and concepts.

The Modeling, Analytics, and Simulation Sciences Division is heavily focused on support to the Intelligence Community and DoD through specialized software development and M&S tools and infrastructure. We have a unique blend of analysis and modeling capabilities with an understanding of S&TI missions that enable us to provide the Government with innovative solutions to complex software requirements. We are industry leaders in the Air Force’s AFSIM modeling and simulation environment and have been heavily involved in ITASE and TMAP for years. This opportunity will give the candidate exposure to a wide array of new technologies to include the latest in DoD modeling & simulation, analysis, and user interface design.  Our dynamic software development teams work collaboratively and encourage creativity and innovation in software design, integration, and development. Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance

Required Experience

• Prior software development experience with C++

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience related to space-based systems, network topologies, sensors, electronic warfare, data fusion, C2, cyber, or other defense-related areas
• Experience with simulation frameworks such as AFSIM, ITASE, or NGTS
• Experience developing or integrating physics-based models in simulation frameworks
• Active security clearance
