  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Responsible for completing test engineering tasks critical to new product development and maintenance of our existing products. This individual contributor role will be a key participant in the Product Realization Process as part of the Test Engineering Team.

    Principal Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for thermal qualification testing of all Lancaster Video Systems products
    • Create test plans and reports
    • Conduct corrosion testing on products/sample parts
    • Maintain lab equipment, supply inventory, and a neat working environment in the thermal test lab
    • Conduct annual calibration of thermal test lab equipment
    • Perform shock and vibration testing
    • Actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives

    ** This role requires in-office presence; candidates must live within a commutable distance to Lancaster, PA site. Relocation assistance will not be provided.**

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
    • Able to read and understand technical drawings such as schematics, parts lists, and PCB artwork
    • Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, multi-meters, power meters
    • Excellent soldering skills including small surface mount components
    • Basic network experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
    • 2+ years of experience with electrical circuit analysis and root cause analysis
    • 2+ years of experience in a high-paced, R&D, environment
    • Experience scripting languages such as Python
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong mechanical aptitude
    • Ability to work within multi-cultural, cross-functional teams
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, changing environment
