    ABOUT THIS ROLE: We are seeking a high-caliber Direct Solar Sales Manager to manage our Residential Sales Channel; our LI and NYC market. In this role, you will lead our residential sales channel in these markets by driving sales, managing our existing sales reps, developing a talent pipeline, and providing training/ sales management to the NY sales team.

    ABOUT THE COMPANY: Harvest Power is a nationally recognized leader in the solar energy industry, providing full-service residential and commercial solar energy project management including design, engineering, and installation of solar energy systems. Since 2008, the organization has been solidifying its position in the market and is now gearing up for an exciting growth phase.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead from the front by selling 4-8 contracts/month
    • Act as part of the sales team, calling exclusive, qualified inbound leads and making outbound calls for follow-up and referral generation
    • Evaluate their performance; and lead meetings to discuss benchmarks and goals
    • Provide feedback, support, and coaching to the Outside Sales team
    • Showcasing our strengths and our brand by highlighting what makes Harvest Power unique
    • Maintain a pipeline of leads to successfully grow the team

     

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

    • Inside/outside sales experience, with solar experience preferred
    • Experience in all aspects of planning sales strategy while leading a team
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Understanding of our offerings and how to explain them to customers
    • Ability to work under pressure to meet and exceed our sales goals
    • Knowledge of market research
    • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Zoom is preferred

    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

    • First year OTE $65-150K
    • Higher performers are on pace to earn $150-250k
    • Base Salary + Commissions
