    We’re seeking a skilled and experienced construction estimator to join our team. You will assist our busy team by producing proposals, cost estimates, and detailed takeoffs for construction projects. Our ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in construction estimation and very strong communication and project management skills. Responsibilities: • Provide accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs • Inquire with clients regarding the status of submitted proposal and budgets • Evaluate proposals, specifications, blueprints, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole • Visit construction sites to obtain necessary client requirement information • Calculate construction materials, product costs, labor, and time to estimate overall cost for construction projects Qualifications: • Current Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification from the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) is desired • A Bachelors’ degree in construction management, civil engineering, accounting, or a related field is required • Knowledge of data and risk analysis, research methodology, accounting, and estimation metrics is critical • Stellar communication, project management, and time-management skills are crucial • Extensive experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software • Strong understanding of construction documents and ability to read plans • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite (Required) • Familiarity with Microsoft Projects or similar software (Preferred) • Knowledge of construction software (Preferred) • Proficiency in Slack and other chat apps (Preferred) • Strong verbal and written communication, computer, and decision-making skills (Required) • Construction or project management software experience is a significant plus • Four-year college degree in engineering, construction management, or other similar fields • Finished training for OSHA 30 license • One year of previous experience as a construction project manager required Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 DOE
