Responsibilities: • Teach recruits and hire staff that suit the business culture to provide a welcoming atmosphere for kitchen employees • Make decisions for daily culinary operations, including exceeding guest expectations and increasing revenue and profit • Ensure that all food preparation, including processes, portioning, and garnishing, is well supervised, and confirm that the finished dishes are visually appealing • Create new and unique menu items and specials using various ingredients in an innovative way • Control department costs that are under your management, such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment, and work with vendors to get the best products at a cost-effective price Qualifications: • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers • Must have 7-8 years of culinary experience for this role • Outstanding management abilities, as well as experience leading, inspiring, and building a team • Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage Compensation: $70,000 + bonus
