If that sounds like you, keep reading because OTF is looking for Fitness Coaches to lead our coach-inspired, science-backed, and technology-tracked workouts. We are looking for coaches who can make our members feel welcome, and that they’re an integral part of the hour you spend together. Coaches whose positive energy stays with a member long after they’ve left the studio, and they find themselves counting the hours till their next workout.

As a Fitness Head Coach, you can expect to perform the following duties:
Report to and work alongside the Studio Manager
Assist studio manager in planning and organizing studio-wide events, private classes, workshops, etc.
Manage the coaching staff and lead by example
Coach 9-12 classes a week
Work in the studio for a minimum of 8 hours per week and a max of 12 hours per week
Create a coaching schedule and ensure that each shift is covered, setting capacity, set coach, and pay structure.
Submit payroll for the coaching staff
Order equipment, supplies, and all items necessary for the coaching team
Attend and host monthly fitness meetings
Interview, onboard, and train potential OTF Coaches
Fill in when coaches need help or help facilitate making sure all spots are filled
Track and follow up with potential members and current members.
As a Fitness Coach, you can expect to perform the following duties:
Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
Helping members set and achieve goals
Make sure members are using the correct form and offering corrections if they aren’t
Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate-focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing
Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout
Being a team player
Deliver predesigned workouts to groups of up to 39 clients
Build OTF attendance and retaining current clientele
Ensure the safety of participants in regard to heart rate and exercise technique
Modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels
Attend monthly fitness staff meetings and required educational presentations
Assist membership consultants, when needed, with OTF studio tours and sales
Additionally, you’ll need to meet these requirements:
Being AED/CPR certified
Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, NCSA, AFFA, or NFPT
Coach 9-12 classes/week
Work in the studio for a minimum of 8 hours per week and a max of 12 hours per week
Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics
Ability to multi-task and stay organized
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels
Bachelor’s degree in an exercise-related field is preferred
Must be able to safely lift and move up to 40lbs
