About the Role

TGA Premier Sports is looking for a Golf Teaching Professional to lead instruction at Brookview Golf Course in Minneapolis. This is a teaching-focused role, allowing you to spend your time coaching, not running a pro shop. With an existing client base and a strong network of past participants and parents, this is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter looking to grow their lesson business in a supportive and structured environment.

This position is structured as a revenue-share model, meaning total compensation can range from $30K–$50K+ depending on the number of lessons booked. If you have previous clients, you are welcome to bring them along, and we will actively market your availability to help fill your schedule.

Year-Round Earning Potential:

To make this a full-time, year-round position, we have multiple ways to keep you coaching and earning during the offseason: 🏌️ Simulator Relationships – We have partnerships with multiple indoor golf simulators where you can continue coaching private lessons and running winter programs. ⛳ TGA Junior Programs – Opportunity to coach TGA’s junior programs, including beginner and more advanced player development courses. 📈 Develop New Programs – Work with us to create advanced clinics, junior leagues, and new instructional offerings to expand golf programming in the community.

Responsibilities:

Provide private and group golf instruction for juniors, adults, and corporate clients.

Develop and lead customized lesson plans for golfers of all skill levels.

Work with TGA and Brookview staff to promote and grow lesson bookings.

Engage with past students and community members to build your client base.

Participate in corporate clinics, junior programs, and specialty instruction events.

Utilize indoor simulator relationships to maintain instruction year-round.

Qualifications:

Certified PGA/LPGA Professional (or actively pursuing certification preferred).

Minimum of 2 years of golf instruction experience (private lessons, group clinics, or camps).

Passion for player development and making golf accessible for all skill levels.

Entrepreneurial mindset – ability to grow a lesson business and retain students.

Availability for evening and weekend instruction (peak lesson times).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
