OnPoint Data Strategy is looking for a new Head of Brokerage and List Management to lead its data brokerage and list management operations. OnPoint Data Strategy is a leading provider of data solutions for the conservative fundraising industry. The Head of Brokerage and List Management will be responsible for consolidating the existing data brokerage and list management divisions into a single department and designing and implementing effective sales strategies to expand OnPoint's client base, revenue, and profitability across various markets.
The ideal candidate will have strong vendor relationships and list acquisition skills, as well as a proven track record of delivering data solutions to meet the diverse needs of clients. The candidate will also have excellent leadership and management skills, and will be able to mentor and motivate a team of sales and brokerage professionals. The candidate will report to the President of OnPoint Data and collaborate with other departments, such as data strategy, data processing, account management, and operations, to ensure smooth and successful delivery of data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and motivate the brokerage and sales teams to achieve and exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to the team to enhance their skills in successfully negotiating pricing and terms with clients and partners.
- Manage the sales pipeline and forecast, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and results.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, as well as industry partners and vendors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and segments, leveraging the company's expertise and reputation in direct marketing and fundraising.
- Analyze data and market trends, and provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales performance and campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- 4+ years of experience in leadership position. Preferably from a business development and/or account management background.
- Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing sales teams and delivering results.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to drive action.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Direct Mail and/or Fundraising sectors.
