About the role

As a critical member of the Cloud Operations team, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting and empowering our product teams while ensuring seamless continuous delivery and reliable performance of both new and existing product instances. You will be instrumental in securing, optimizing, and scaling our cloud-based infrastructure, collaborating closely across departments, and leading technical initiatives and team projects.

What you’ll do

• Maintain and manage the daily operation, optimization, and reliability of our Azure cloud infrastructure.

• Deploy, configure, and manage scalable instances of Source Intelligence's SaaS products on Azure.

• Conduct proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of systems to guarantee maximum availability, security, and performance.

• Implement and continuously enhance best-practice security measures, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing coordination, and compliance with security standards.

• Play an active role in security and compliance audits, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2 assessments, addressing findings, and documenting controls.

• Collaborate directly with customers to implement Single Sign-On (SSO), email integration, and secure connectivity solutions.

• Provide technical expertise during pre-sales engagements and deliver comprehensive architectural documentation and technical diagrams as required.

• Offer specialized consultation, advice, and technical support to product project managers and implementation teams.

• Provide ongoing technical and operational support to on-premise, self-hosted customers.

• Deliver internal IT support and guidance to users, addressing complex technical issues efficiently.

• Identify, recommend, and drive cloud infrastructure and application performance improvements to optimize efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Lead technical projects and mentor junior members of the Cloud Operations team, fostering collaboration, growth, and knowledge sharing within the team.

What we’re looking for

• Expert knowledge and extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure PaaS technologies such as:

  • Azure App Services

  • Azure Functions

  • Azure SQL Database

  • Azure Cosmos DB

  • Azure Storage (Blob, Queue, Table, File)

  • Azure Logic Apps

  • Azure API Management

  • Azure Monitor and Application Insights

• Strong understanding and experience with Microsoft Windows Server, IIS, and SQL Server administration and optimization.

• Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries and performance tuning.

• Advanced scripting and automation capabilities using tools like PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, or Terraform.

• Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting complex technical issues across infrastructure, applications, security, and integrations.

• Comprehensive knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, key management, security monitoring, threat detection, and response.

• Proven experience optimizing system and application performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing efficient scaling solutions.

• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly and confidently present complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to work proactively, independently, and collaboratively in cross-functional teams, taking ownership of issues and initiatives.

• Strong leadership capabilities with experience leading teams or mentoring technical staff, driving project outcomes, and fostering continuous improvement across the organization.
