Description Summary
This is a full-time, exempt position responsible for overseeing retail sales channels. Responsible for setting policy for all customers, including pricing and contracts, as well as establishing product requirements. Establishes sales objectives and strategies. And provides leadership to the retail sales team to accomplish set goals.

Essential Job Responsibilities
• Works closely with the Chief Strategic & Commercial Officer to set sales objectives and strategies.
• Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales team, while maintaining focus on the Company’s strategic goals.
• Develops and manages customer base.
• Manages day-to-day accounts and orders.
• Works with customers to meet their requests.
• Actively pursues new business for retail sales.
• Develops and implements marketing plans.
• Ensures accurate order processing and timely product arrival to the customer.
• Identifies strategies to improve sales and customer service.
• Seeks out and targets new customers and sales opportunities.
• Initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company.
• Supports new distribution, pricing, and promotion objectives.
• Prepares budget for sales team.
Other Duties
• Monitors, reviews, and reports on all sales activities.
• Analyzes sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
• Conducts performance reviews and establishes performance goals for all sales staff.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, accounting or another relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Eight years’ experience in Sales, with five years’ experience in Sales Management, preferably in the dietary supplement industry.
• Working knowledge of international sales issues and import/export regulations.
• Thorough understanding of all field sales functions and tasks as well as inside sales positions.
• Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives.
• Proficiency in using PC-based applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Proficiency in math and analytical aptitude.
• Excellent verbal, written and telephone communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills, including time management, multi-tasking, and project management.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Scientific background helpful but not required.
• Aggressive “sales attitude” necessary.
• High level of personal integrity and professional ethics.
