Fully bootstrapped and profitable. We're gearing up for our next growth phase and need a superstar to lead our legal team. We are looking for a dedicated In-House Legal Counsel.
To be successful as a Legal Counsel, you should have excellent USA Law expertise. You should also have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the eCommerce and online business law.

****Job Responsibilities:
- Legal Analysis: Analyse legal issues, mainly in the USA, and advise managers and teams.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure product and marketing compliance with relevant laws.
- Document Preparation: Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, guidelines, and notices.
- Contract Management: Handle contracts with employees, contractors, clients, and vendors.
- **Advertising & Product Compliance: **Ensure advertising and new products comply with regulations.
- Communication: Serve as the legal point of contact for partners, clients, and suppliers.
- Knowledge Sharing: Participate in internal calls and share legal updates.
- Decision Support: Provide legal input for strategic business decisions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law.
- Experience: 3+ years as an in-house lawyer or at a law firm, preferably in SaaS, eCommerce, or online companies.
- Legal Expertise: Strong knowledge of USA law, corporate law, contract law, advertising compliance, IP, and data protection.
- Contracts: Skilled in drafting and negotiating various contracts.
- Compliance: Proficient in ensuring legal compliance for eCommerce operations.
- Communication: Excellent English communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional detail-oriented approach. (Include the word “apple” in your application.)
- Collaboration: Team player with experience working across time zones.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
