    Field Interviewer - Travel + BONUS!

    On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is seeking outgoing and motivated Field Interviewers who love to travel and conduct market research! The field interviewer will conduct face-to-face interviews with randomly selected respondents, using an address-based sample. Interviewers must be professional, persuasive, friendly, organized, and detail oriented. The pay rate for this position is $21.50/hr and includes performance bonuses that can boost your earning potential! The position requires travel and includes paid training.     ABOUT THE STUDY

    For over 60 years, this study allows consumers to express their opinions and preferences on all sorts of questions, including media, product usage, and consumer behavior. Our client conducts more than 48,000 interviews each year, in-person and online. Participating respondents receive an incentive as a thank you.

    As a Field Interviewer, you will...

    • Travel to and conduct interviews in different neighborhoods
    • Work a flexible part-time schedule that includes weekdays and weekends, afternoons, and evenings
    • Collect information using a tablet
    • Be responsible for tablet and all other study materials
    • Keep respondent information and interview details confidential
    • Complete all other tasks as assigned by management
    • Work independently in the field
    • Check-in daily with assigned supervisor
    • Be required to wear a mask when completing an interview (respondents are not required to wear a mask)

    As a Condition of Employment, All Employees…

    • Must be willing to consent to the performance of a background check
    • Must be fully vaccinated and up to date with the booster shot

    Field Interviewer Qualifications

    • Previous data collection or field interviewing experience preferred
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Willing to travel for assignments [car/mass transit/plane]
    • Valid drivers license
    • Follow all company mandated health and safety protocols
    • Enjoy interacting with all sorts of people
    • Treat all respondents with sincere professionalism

    Hours, Pay and Training 20-40+ hours per week, primarily afternoons, evenings, and weekends 14-day work assignments with at least one week off before traveling again Paid time and mileage for traveling to selected households Mileage reimbursement at standard government rate Per diem provided on travel assignments Required virtual training sessions across 3 consecutive days

    • Must use device with large screen [no cell phones] and camera, and have reliable Internet to successfully complete training course
    • Training dates/times established once onboarding paperwork is completed

    Certified bilingual Spanish interviewers earn additional compensation Physical Requirements

    • Ability to operate a motor vehicle for study purposes
    • Get in and out of a car multiple times a day while visiting areas
    • Walk from house to house within neighborhoods
    • Carry a laptop and other materials up flights of stairs
    • Possess effective communication skills through speech and listening and fluency in English through reading, writing, and speaking
    • Exposure to various weather and environments, as might be expected in a field interviewing role
