Job Description
On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking Remote Call Center Support Representatives. As a Call Center Representative, you will make outbound and receive inbound calls to help patients understand their medical bills, payment options, and responsibilities. Additionally, you will provide excellent customer service while maintaining respect for the patient’s privacy rights and personal health and financial information confidentiality. The position offers a full-time (40 hours) schedule, Monday through Friday, with competitive pay plus benefits once you successfully pass training.
AS A REMOTE CALL CENTER SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE, YOU WILL:
- Receive and place phone calls in a high-volume call center environment
- Patiently and accurately communicate with patients by phone
- Educate patients about responsibility for medical services provided
- Analyze and explain information in writing and verbally
- Manage two computer monitors, a phone system, and multiple software applications
- Understand and pronounce basic medical terms
- Type 40+ WPM
REMOTE CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous call center experience required
- One year of relevant experience preferred
- One year of customer service experience preferred
- Complete and pass essential computer skill and typing assessments

TWO COMPETITIVE PAY RATE OPTIONS:
- $12.00 per hour with no commission
- $10.00 per hour base pay with commission
- The average employee that qualifies for commission makes an additional $4/hr
- Potential to reach a maximum of $20/hr with commissions based on performance
- Metrics and analytics are delivered daily
WORK-FROM-HOME TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a reliable internet connection with the ability to hardwire connect into your modem/router with an ethernet cord from modem to PC
- Wi-Fi/Satellite Internet connections are NOT allowed
- The internet connection cannot be a cellular “hot spot” or any other service which runs over a cellular network
- Must have either a cable modem or DSL connection
- Recommended available upload speed of 8-10 Mbps (Megabits per second)
- Workspace available to accommodate dual monitors up to 24” in size - depending on hardware availability
- Must have a quiet environment to work from home (free from children/pets during working hours)
- Our client provides equipment to employees; once hired, you are required to assemble and test before the 1st day of training
HOURS & TRAINING:
- There are two training dates in June: June 7th and June 28th
- Perfect attendance required during training
- Must actively participate and successfully complete a 6-week paid training class
- Must achieve incremental performance goals
- After completion of training, the schedule is 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with the following shifts available:
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (1-hour lunch)
- 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST (1/2-hour lunch)
- 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST (1-hour lunch)
- 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM EST (1/2-hour lunch)
- Saturday hours are voluntary
