Health & Benefits Account Manager - Independent Insurance Agency - Base Salary to 90k/year - Greenwich, CT

• Our client, a respected family-owned agency in the Greenwich, CT area has an immediate need for a Health & Benefits Account Manager. This role is a temporary role but at an annualized salary but on a 1099 tax basis through year end. There is potential for this to become a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for handling their book of health insurance renewals. You will handle mostly current renewals (some new clients) for individual and small group health insurance. You will be quoting, presenting, and issuing. Most policies are in CT, NY and NJ.
• They work with several different carriers including Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Oxford, and one or two others but limited with those.
• Handle the quoting/sale of travel insurance.
• Assist with Life Insurance quoting/applications/issuance.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in health insurance.
• Life & Health Licensed.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 80k - 90k/year range.
• No benefits at this time as this is a temp role. However, if you do get hired on permanently, they would include the time worked toward the permanent benefits.
