    Job Description

    The Health Club Attendant is responsible for ensuring maximum cleanliness, safety and uncompromising attention to all guests. Attention to cleanliness and supplies as well as the working condition of equipment translates into a great experience for our guests.

    The shifts are 4 hours long (from 6pm to 10pm) and will be up to 5 evenings each week (From Saturday to Wednesday).

    • Available to work weekends and shift work
    • Provide warm, sincere and engaging service that ensures Guests feel valued.
    • Treat each and every Guest as a unique individual.
    • Anticipate Guests’ needs with thoughtful and personal touches.
    • Resolve Guest problems and never say “no” without offering an alternative.
    • Be an ambassador for the Brand, Hotel, Community and Colleagues.
    • Be guided by Fairmont core values; respect, integrity, teamwork and empowerment.
    • Be the first and last positive representation of the health club for guests.
    • Greet guests as they enter and leave the facility.
    • Maintain a neat and orderly work area consistent with the high standards of the facility.
    • Complete knowledge of hotel services provided.
    • Ensure that the Health Club is safe and hazard free.
    • Maintain general upkeep and cleanliness of entire health club facility.
    • Communicating with guests and members using correct verbiage and standard Fairmont telephone protocols at all times.
    • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
    • Remove all trash and dirty linen from Health Club on a daily basis.
    • Report all lost and found items to housekeeping supervisor immediately.
    • Keep all areas of the Health Club and closets clean, neat, swept and vacuumed.
    • Report any maintenance items immediately to supervisor or office coordinator.

    • Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations.
    • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by coworkers and guests.
    • Must be engaging and able to respond to guests.
