    Program Duration: 8 weeks (Hybrid, On-Site & Remote)

    Location: On-site in Brooklyn (2 days per week), Remote (Flexible for the remainder)

    Overview: We are offering several summer internship opportunities to support critical healthcare initiatives, including our breast cancer screening program, lung cancer screening efforts, and the coordination of clinical trials for prostate cancer. These internships provide hands-on experience in both on-site and remote settings, making this a great opportunity for students interested in healthcare and clinical research.

    This internship is ideal for pre-med students, nursing students, public health professionals, or anyone pursuing a career in healthcare or clinical research.

    Key Responsibilities: As an intern, you will work alongside our healthcare and research teams to support various cancer initiatives. Responsibilities may include:

    Patient Outreach & Scheduling: Assist with outreach efforts to patients, schedule appointments for screenings or clinical trials, and communicate with patients about program details.

    Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and organize patient data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Assist with analyzing data to support ongoing projects and research.

    Program Coordination: Help with the day-to-day coordination of screening programs and clinical trials, ensuring smooth operations and timely follow-ups.

    Clinical Trial Logistics: Provide support for the coordination and logistics of clinical trials, including assisting with participant tracking, consent forms, and trial documentation.

    Internship Requirements:

    Currently enrolled in a healthcare-related program (e.g., pre-med, nursing, public health, clinical research)

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    Interest in cancer research, patient care, and healthcare initiatives
