    Job Type: Full-Time with benefits
    Hours: Average of 40 hours per week, on-site
    Shifts: Four 10-hour shifts - overnight. Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday 3rd shift - 7:00pm - 5:30am
    Hourly Range: $30 - $37
    *negotiable based on credentials and experience

    Position Overview:

    A day in the life of a Healthcare Services Prevention Professional (HSPP) will include using your clinical knowledge and our training to provide program services on-site at the client location. The Healthcare Services Prevention Professional (HSPP) is part of the Health Center Injury Prevention & Safe Patient Handling (HCIP/SPHM) team. The HSPP provides the consultative and injury prevention line of the HCIP/SPHM Program. Our primary goal is to develop strong relationship and assist in the overall well-being of the working athletes we serve.

    Job Duties:

    • Provide onsite Healthcare Prevention services at three locations in the San Francisco Bay area.
    • Support the implementation of Health Center Injury Prevention & Safe Patient Handling (HCIP/SPHM) strategies and employee safety programs for Briotix Health clients
    • Deliver Injury Prevention Program services through use of the Briotix Health PRO SYSTEMS, provide early discomfort management, job coaching services and conduct general workplace safety assessments
    • Facilitate onsite ergonomic assessments for identified ergonomic improvements and provide ergonomic training utilizing the Briotix Health ergonomics program
    • Conduct workplace safety assessments and rounding to healthcare system department areas to identify workplace hazards that require escalation and corrective action
    • Understand, implement, and follow all steps of the Early Discomfort Management (EDM) program
    • Create and maintain positive relationships
    • Support all required documentation to ensure client organizational compliance of HCIP/SPHM programs

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Degree in athletic training, kinesiology, exercise physiology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or related field
    • Appropriate certifications and/or state license in good standing required
    • Current CPR certification
    • Demonstrated knowledge of musculoskeletal injury care
    • Must be able to meet the physical demands of on-site work needs; ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds, frequent standing, walking, sitting, squatting and communicate with your Team Supervisor if your ability changes

    • Understand and demonstrate appropriate lifting body mechanics with or without a load to provide proper prevention techniques

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 1-2 years of industrial / occupational experience in injury prevention or ergonomics
    • Background in Safe Patient Handling and Mobility Program development
    • Experience conducting workplace harm risk assessments, job site analysis, product evaluations, and injury prevention program development, implementation, and training
