    Position: Healthcare Training Analyst Location: Health Care Interservice Training Office, 3630 Stanley Rd. Bldg. 2841, Room 1508 Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

    Job Overview: AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking a skilled Healthcare Training Analyst to support the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Healthcare Training Integration Task Office (HC-ITO) at Ft. Sam Houston. The role involves providing expert technical consultation, performing program evaluations, and supporting the strategic realignment of military medical training programs. Responsibilities encompass researching advanced training technologies, identifying redundancies, and delivering findings to senior military leaders. This position operates on-site, Monday through Friday.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Consultation and Technical Assistance: Provide expert advice and technical assistance to HC-ITO, evaluating military medical training programs.

    Program Evaluation: Assist in developing Task Alignment Matrices to align tasks with skill levels for active and reserve military components.

    Research and Recommendations: Explore and recommend innovative training technologies and methodologies to enhance program efficiency.

    Communication and Facilitation: Conduct regular program analyses, presenting findings in briefings and reports to senior leadership.

    Specific Duties:

    Program Consolidation and Lifecycle Studies:

    Coordinate and manage overall training review schedules, track outcomes, and report to leadership.

    Manage pre-study data collection, identify issues, and lead pre-study meetings for optimal study outcomes.

    Facilitate meetings, document outcomes, and ensure follow-up on outstanding issues.

    Manage and store final study documentation in a permanent repository.

    Prepare data analysis for dashboards and decision-making support.

    Process Improvement and Working Groups:

    Lead and participate in process improvement working groups to develop and track program lifecycle processes.

    Facilitate adjustments to program review processes, including special cases like DHA program divestments and mobilization curricula development.

    Represent healthcare in committees, including Procedures & Directives, Technology, Manpower, and Cost, to review and enhance policies and inter-organizational agreements.

    Research and Analytical Support:

    Conduct research to support issue resolution and prepare background materials, decision papers, and analysis reports for leadership.

    Interservice Training Advisory Board (ITAB) Support:

    Coordinate board meetings, prepare materials, and present findings to senior leadership.

    Document meeting minutes and follow up on approved action items.

    Technical Support and User Training:

    Provide help desk support for ITRO portal, user access troubleshooting, and training.

    Offer technical support to internal staff, including software setup and office procedure training.

    Develop training materials, job aids, and deliver in-person or virtual training sessions.

    Records Automation and Database Management:

    Manage and update SQL server database tables, VBA programming for Access, and JavaScript for forms integration.

    Coordinate with external teams on technology changes, server transitions, and proposals for updated solutions.

    Develop automation for studies using VBA-based Word and Excel templates.

    Healthcare ITRO Portal and Automation Development:

    Develop and maintain the ITRO portal using Power Automate and Power Apps, creating a centralized Teams-based solution.

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; OR a Bachelor’s degree in any field supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in relevant coursework. Required areas of study include:

    Learning Theory, Psychology of Learning, Educational Psychology

    Instructional Design Practices

    Educational Evaluation

    Instructional Product Development

    Computers in Education and Training

    Experience:

    Minimum of five years of experience in education, training, or a related field.

    Proven knowledge of instructional design processes and educational methodologies.

    Skills:

    Proficiency in Systems Approach to Training and Instructional Design

    Strong presentation and facilitation skills, especially with senior leadership

    Ability to collaborate with multi-service personnel and external partners

    Schedule: Monday through Friday, on-site at Ft. Sam Houston, 06:00 AM – 17:00 PM.
