Heartland Title is expanding to the Jacksonville market and is seeking an experienced Title Closer for hybrid work. The right candidate is eager and quick to learn, has high energy, and especially enjoys providing high-quality and personalized service to stressed out customers (it is transactional real estate after all). Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities:This position is focused on remotely serving our clients, with occasional in-office responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with reviewing title search reports, using title notes, and underwriting guides to clear title objections, drafting necessary closing documents and settlement statements, coordinating and balancing with lenders, scheduling files for closing (in-person, remote online notary, or mobile notary), ability to explain documents and fees to customers and perform accurate file level escrow accounting.The Team and Secondary Responsibilities:We employ processors and post closers to assist with file production. You will have secondary responsibility for processor and post-closing tasks. Our processors assist with order input, lien searches, mortgage and lien payoffs, and survey ordering. The post-processors assist with eRecording and policy drafting. Each file is handled as a team effort, occasionally this requires performing processing and post-closing tasks for your files. Qualifications: • Experience in the role described above • Detail-oriented individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills • Microsoft Office Suite proficient • Google Suite proficient • Closing Software knowledge (Qualia) • Notary Appointment • Title Agent License preferred, required within 12 months of employment Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000
