Heat Press Operator
The heat press operator is responsible for completing work orders that require heat applications. They complete everything from the design to the cut and embellishment.
· Properly apply Heat Press to clothing
· Applying proper formulas to heat press, such as proper temperature, pressure, timing and placement on the garment
· Completing work orders outlined in the daily production schedule, organizing orders, organizing files for customers
· Quality control of each embellishment Manual and Automatic heat presses are used
· Proper operation and maintenance of heat-press equipment
· Maintaining the work area clean and organized
· Cut and peel appropriate designs
· Other duties as assigned

Job related requirements:
Must work on site
Must be able to stand for entire shift
Must be able to lift up to 40 pound boxes
Climbing small ladder, bending, reaching, squatting
Must be able to read and comprehend written/verbal orders
Must be able to communicate efficiently in English
Must be capable of only taking one meal period per day
Must be able to work between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday-Saturday
Office/Desk and all areas responsible must be vacuumed, swept, and wiped down at the end of the week.
All staff understand that Uniform Gear is a team environment. Even though we have our daily responsibilities, staff will be asked to assist in other departments they are knowledgeable in.
Staff members who regularly work Monday-Friday may be asked to work on the weekends when we are open. Hours will be adjusted and at least three weeks’ notice will be given.
