JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Duties: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Assist heat treat personnel in setting up loads, material handling, loading, and unloading furnaces, wrapping and banding parts for shipment, operating a forklift and receiving work.
In addition, operate table and tumble blaster, fixturing of parts for heat treatment, application of rust inhibitor or light oil where required, and the application of carburizing stop-off compounds. Assist in the operation of overhead cranes and other support equipment. Take parts to inspection for quality checks if required, and report results to the operator. Immediately bring any unusual problem, irregularity or concern to operator, shift supervisor or management.
Practices safety and good housekeeping at all times and performs all other assigned duties.
Work overtime as needed and be willing to work any shift and weekends.
Qualifications: 2 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Will train motivated individual with some work experience.
Other Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read and interpret customer purchase orders, shop travelers, as well as company quality system procedures
Write legibly
Ability to multi-task
Pay based upon experience. Overtime at hourly time and a half.
