Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy trucks and equipment, including engines, transmissions, steering systems, brakes, air conditioning, and electrical systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all shop and field equipment.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate the scope of work assigned.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of heavy equipment capabilities and operating procedures.
- Conduct equipment inspections and diagnostic testing to determine condition and necessary repairs.
- Maintain vehicle appearance and repair damaged parts.
- Accurately document and maintain vehicle and equipment records.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Enforce adherence to all health and safety standards.
- Exhibit a vested interest in the company's success by demonstrating initiative and a team-oriented mindset.
- Be punctual and proactive, consistently seeking opportunities to assist.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. (Required)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic. (Required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. (CDL Preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks that require bending, stooping, standing, and walking for extended periods. (Required)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of DOT compliance and safety standards is a plus.
- DOT Medical Card. (Preferred)

Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
- Weekend shifts as needed.
Experience:
- Heavy Equipment Mechanic: Minimum 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). (Required)
- DOT Medical Card. (Preferred)
Salary info:
$28 - $40 / hr
