    Job Description

    Position Purpose:
    Responsible for maintaining and operating heavy equipment used in operations, including backhoes, dozers, and front end loaders, used in earth moving operations and/or industrial settings. Work duties may require minor mechanical maintenance and repairs.

    Primary Duties /Responsibilities:

    • Ability to operate heavy, power driven equipment to increase efficiency and productivity
    • Maintain and repair heavy, power driven equipment
    • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate site conditions or changes in conditions to management/supervisor
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    1. High school diploma or equivalent.

    2. 1 - 3 year’s experience as a equipment operator.

    3. Ability to do manual labor in an outdoor environment that may include elevated areas and extreme weather conditions. __

    4. Good communications skills, and the ability to read operating instructions.

    5. Proactive in SAFETY and works well in a team environment.
