    Job Brief

    The function of the IT Tech Support is to address and resolve issues for all office personnel, including the deployment, administration, and/or support of technology systems essential to the day-to-day operations. Assists with AV support in conference rooms to include light networking such as cabling and/ or patch panel.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Supporting employees with computer issues, troubleshooting PC operating systems and software Susman Godfrey LLP Position Specification, IT Tech Support
    • Move, setting up and ship computers, peripherals, and printers
    • Provide End User Support (Helpdesk) to employees in all offices on software applications used in the firm
    • Prepare and support remote trial “Road Show” equipment
    • Maintain and track inventory
    • Assist with software installations/troubleshooting
    • Participate in on-call rotation with other members in IT Department Experience

     

    Requirements

     

    • A minimum of three years’ experience at least one prior job supporting a top Am Law 100 firm or a similarly sophisticated law firm environment required.
    • Ability to troubleshoot issues with mobile devices such as iPhones/iPads and Androids.
    • Troubleshooting local and network printing, email, connectivity, remote access, and hardware issues.
    • Windows 11 and Office 2016/365 certifications a plus.
    • Experience managing users, hardware repair and setting up and maintaining audio visual system.
    • Understanding of the Windows operating system to include making changes to the Windows registry, device drivers, TCP/IP Networking configuration, user personalization, security, networking. Ability to log, assign, prioritize, and escalate issues as appropriate to SGIT.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and all levels of management.
    • Superior organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects independently.
    • Enthusiastic, energetic, and team-oriented attitude, with a focus on fostering a work environment of open communication and trust.
  • Compensation
    $70,000-$90,000 per year
