Job Description

This Help Desk Technician will provide on-site support in our Houston, TX office Monday- Friday 9:00am -5:00pm. Additionally, you provided remote support to our branches in North Carolina and New Jersey, and other remote users.

Primary Job Duties:

• Provide support for all IT products and services which may include answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and instructing customers regarding software or hardware
• Answer IT tickets in a timely manner
• Prepare and ship applicable equipment to new hires

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Recent college graduate with a degree in Computer Information Science or 1-2 years of experience in a Helpdesk Support position
• Excellent technical troubleshooting skills and non-technical communication skills
• Local and remote end-user system troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 Desktop/Workstation Operating Systems
• Office 365
• Exchange Online
• Office desktop application suite
• Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
• Some knowledge of installation, configuration, reimaging, and support of computer systems hardware and software. Including peripheral devices and accessories
• Familiarity installing and troubleshooting multifunction printers
• Customer service oriented
• Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good planning and organizing skills
• Ability to handle stress and deliver positive service
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies
• Proactive thinker with attention to details
• Working outside normal business hours may occasionally be required
• Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Intune
• General knowledge of OneDrive / SharePoint, Virus/Malware/Spyware diagnostic removal techniques
