    Job Brief

    This is an exciting opportunity to join a company during a growth phase. This position is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Works primarily from a help desk application but will run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, resolve technical issues, and determine and implement solutions. Must have exceptional customer service.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
    • Respond to end-user problems over the phone.
    • Write/update technical documents related to help desk duties.
    • Train computer users.
    • Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
    • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
    • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
    • Resolve Tier 1 technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
    • Install computer peripherals for users.
    • Follow up with customers to ensure the issue has been resolved.
    • Escalate issues to designated tier 2 staff as necessary.

     

    Requirements

    • Military Veteran
    • No felonies or class A misdemeanors
    • Clean record to include zero no felonies or Class A or B misdemeanors (those are permanent disqualifications to support our Police Department client base).
    • Prior IT experience in desktop support and server administration is a must, we are looking for a candidate that can hit the ground running
    • Qualified candidates ideally would be located already in the North Houston area to include the Woodlands, Conroe or even Humble
