    About Us: Pattillo, Brown & Hill, L.L.P. is looking for a dedicated Helpdesk Technician to join our dynamic IT team in Waco, Texas. We are committed to fostering a positive work environment and are seeking a new team member with a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and strong troubleshooting capabilities. This position is open to hybrid or fully remote, depending on experience.

    Key Qualifications:

    Proficient in PC architecture and Windows 11 operating system.

    Advanced knowledge of network and printer troubleshooting.

    Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively assist end-users.

    Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.

    Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

    Comfortable with remote troubleshooting.

    Job Duties:

    Respond to incoming support requests and provide timely technical assistance to end-users.

    Conduct independent research to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

    Address technical problems related to PCs, printers, and networks.

    Collaborate with IT team members to tackle complex technical challenges.

    Document and track support requests, resolutions, and activities in the helpdesk ticketing system.

    Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to offer support after business hours.

    Assist with system and software upgrades and installations.

    Provide remote technical support to end-users as needed.

    Experience/Education Requirements:

    High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Certifications are a plus.

    1-3 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
