Engineering / Manufacturing New Hire We are seeking to hire an energetic graduate in engineering, construction or manufacturing/production engineering related subjects, to work in our stone fabrication facility and progress to management in a short period of time. No specific stone working experience is required but must be comfortable working with their hands as well as computers. Some experience with CAD/CAM software would be an added bonus, as well as some mechanical experience with machinery. Candidate will be expected to become familiar with all the machinery and its operations and maintenance needs, in order to be able to oversee such work. Candidate must be comfortable with direct customer and end-user interactions as well as dealing with employee issues. The job is multi-faceted in a small family-run business and has the potential to develop into a full facility management position as the owner moves towards retirement. The successful candidate will need to be a good, clear communicator, obsessed with detail and quality, and always looking for ways to improve processes. Candidate will need to demonstrate initiative and drive to figure out solutions to problems and implement same. Heritage Stonecraft is a fully automated, digital stone fabrication facility for commercial and residential projects which require granite, marble or quartz slabs for countertops and other custom fabrications. Our process involves digital/laser templating, CAD/CAM programing, and oversight of the fabrication shop operations and maintenance and its 10 fabrication and installation employees.
