HEYTUTOR is looking to hire ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TUTORS (Basic Math and English) for the Los Angeles County. We have partnered with a hundred different schools in the area. This is a PART-TIME, TEMPORARY, ONSITE POSITION paying between $19-$24 per hour and we are aiming to FILL THIS ROLE WITHIN THE WEEK.

POSITION: ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TUTOR

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ current English and Math skills.

• Help students work through their homework and study for exams.

• Provide mentoring and social and emotional support by encouraging impactful, positive tutor-student relationships and increasing students’ motivation and engagement in learning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidates who are currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program or has an Associates or Bachelors degree. Some kind of experience with children would be considered.

• Comfortable working in a classroom setting with grade school students.

• Successfully complete a Background Check.

• Proof of Covid-19 vaccination required.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday - Friday: 2:00pm - 6:00pm (10-15 hours per week)

PAY INFORMATION:

• Pay is between $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

• Paid bi-weekly
