    Job Summary

We are seeking a trustworthy Security Guard to join our team in the immediate future. This position consists of long shifts (10hrs) which will fill your weekly hours in 3-4 days. This is a housing complex that houses many residents that can't live on their own. That said, others are trying to take advantage of the process and there are 30-50 extra people at this site that houses maybe 12.. Please DO NOT submit an application unless you feel you can handle a tough site. You do not need to be physically tough, but mentally tough. We work heavily with transitional housing organizations, and this particular site is for helping men (with a variety of different obstacles in their life), have a safe place to live and a second chance at life.

Position will be observing and reporting any persons committing suspicious or illegal behavior, or anything else that you feel is unsafe. We fight back with our eyes and words. These are all 10hr from early evening to early morning, 7days a week. I am losing a guard to the Sheriffs Department and need to find a like minded individual who is up for the challenge..

We are looking for 2 responsible, trustworthy guards who have a proven reliability at their previous employment.. The ideal candidate will be everything I just mentioned, assertive, and will not get pushed over. De-escalation training or experience should be mentioned upon interviewing. You job will be to inspect the grounds randomly throughout the shift, but your primary position is inside where you'll be checking in guests of residents while carding them.. At the beginning and ending of every shift, you will check in with your Supervisor, as well as supply z Daily activity report (DAR) that will be written throughout the shift. This will consist of every incident, suspicious activity, or anything else you think the property manager should know.
