    Job Title: High School Lead Teacher (Bilingual Mandarin)

    Location: Irvine, CA

    Job Type: Full-Time

    Overview: Immersion Academy is seeking an experienced and dedicated High School Lead Teacher to provide instructional leadership, mentor faculty, and support the academic success of students. The Lead Teacher will serve as a role model for excellence in teaching, collaborate with administration, and contribute to curriculum development and staff professional growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide instructional leadership by modeling effective teaching strategies and supporting best practices.

    Mentor and guide high school teachers in curriculum implementation, classroom management, and instructional techniques.

    Assist in developing, reviewing, and enhancing curriculum to align with state and national standards.

    Conduct regular observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers to enhance their instructional effectiveness.

    Lead professional development sessions and collaborate with faculty to improve teaching methodologies.

    Support data-driven decision-making through the analysis of student performance and assessment results.

    Serve as a liaison between teachers and school administration, advocating for faculty needs and student success.

    Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training new teachers.

    Assist in student disciplinary matters and work closely with the administrative team to maintain a positive school culture.

    Foster a collaborative and innovative learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic achievement.

    Communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty, and staff to ensure alignment on educational goals.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

    Minimum of 5+ years of teaching experience at a U.S. high school.

    Proven leadership experience in an educational setting.

    Strong knowledge of high school curriculum standards and best teaching practices.

    Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

    Experience in mentoring, coaching, and professional development.

    Ability to analyze student performance data to drive instruction and school improvement.

    Passion for education and commitment to student success.
