Job Description
KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools seeks an academic interventionist who will focus on math for 9th - 12th grade students at KIPP Bold City High School. The interventionist focuses on supporting students as an extra layer of support beyond their core academic instruction. The interventionist role includes leading several blocks of intensive math. When the interventionist doesn't have a class, they are pulling small groups, tracking academic progress, ensuring students are accessing blended learning pieces that support their growth, partnering with classroom teachers to ensure student interventions are effective, and other duties as assigned.
All teachers are responsible for creating a positive classroom environment, implementing our curriculum, assessing students, collaborating with their team, building relationships with our families, and other duties as assigned. Because the interventionist supports math RtI across multiple grade levels, the model and schedule can vary slightly.
