    Position Summary:**

    We seek a dedicated and skilled High-Volume Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing large quantities of nutritious meals while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and dietary guidelines. The High-Volume Cook will play a crucial role in providing wholesome, balanced meals that cater to the dietary needs of our residents.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality meals in large quantities according to established menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines.
    - Ensure food is presented attractively and promptly.
    - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
    - Collaborate with the dietary team to accommodate residents' special dietary needs and preferences.
    - Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stocking kitchen supplies as needed.
    - Assist in menu planning and recipe development, focusing on nutritional value and resident preferences.
    - Perform daily kitchen duties, including washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and disposing of waste.
    - Supervise kitchen staff as needed, providing training and support to ensure proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
    - Maintain accurate records of food temperatures, cooking times, and portion sizes.
    - Participate in regular staff meetings and contribute to improving kitchen operations.

    Qualifications:

    - High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certification preferred.
    - Minimum of [2-3 years] experience in a high-volume cooking environment, preferably in a healthcare or institutional setting.
    - Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and nutrition principles.
    - Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes, with strong attention to detail.
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
    - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    - Ability to lift and carry heavy items, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks associated with cooking and food service.
