HILLER FIRE PROTECTION IS A DIVISION OF THE HILLER COMPANIES, A NATIONAL LEADER IN THE FIRE PROTECTION AND SECURITY INDUSTRY HAS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR A QUALIFIED FIRE PROTECTION SPRINKLER ESTIMATOR/SALES REPRESENTATIVE IN BIRMINGHAM, AL.  

REQUIRED:

• Previous experience selling fire protection systems and service
• Strong knowledge of permitting procedures
• Ability to layout sprinkler systems per NFPA requirements
• Ability to oversee ongoing sprinkler jobs to provide the technical expertise to ensure proper completion of job
• Strong organization skills, positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly
• Must adhere to OSHA and company safety policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well with others
• Maintain proper documentation for work performed
• Self-starter that can work with little or no supervision
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent

DESCRIPTION:

• Estimating and preparing proposals for automatic fire sprinkler systems
• Laying out bids for automatic fire sprinkler systems
• Completing material take-offs
• Obtaining vendor pricing
• Assist the company in meeting its objectives and goals by supporting and facilitating estimating and bidding operations

OTHER:

• Microsoft Office (Required)
• CAD (Preferred)
