Description
Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs, FNPs, AGNPs) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Oregon to work direct care within our contracted Skilled Nursing Facilities.
Behavioral Health Solution's team of mental health treatment professionals specialized in providing comprehensive behavioral health services for adults and geriatrics in a variety of settings. Service areas to incorporate:
Responsibilities
- Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
- Assess patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
- Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
- Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
- Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

- W2 Billable Hour or 1099 Independent Contractor
Requirements
- Licensed in Oregon by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
- Licensed by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)
- Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees)
- 1 year of Geri Psych Experience.
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.
Skills
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).
- Excellent written communication.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and able to work under stressful situations.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus!

Pay
- Billable hourly rates available for Part-Time Providers
- Contractor options available.
- Salary + Bonus options available for Full-Time W2 providers. Compensations range from $165,000 - $205,000/yr.
- Compensation is determined based on pay model preferred, experience, and licensure.
