Certified Surgical Technologist - San Antonio, TX

Our client in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join their surgical team. This role offers an opportunity to assist in surgical procedures, working closely with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and sterile operating environment.

Position Overview
The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) acts as the primary scrub person, handling instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgeries, and prepares operating rooms using sterile techniques. This role is essential for maintaining the safety and effectiveness of surgical procedures, ensuring high standards of patient care across all age groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical care to patients before, during, and after surgery
• Assist in the safe and effective conduct of surgical procedures
• Maintain the sterile field and ensure proper setup for each procedure

Schedule and Shift Details

• Full-Time, rotating days/nights with weekends and on-call duty
• 8- or 12-hour shifts available

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher
• 1+ years of experience in Perioperative/Surgical Services
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA (CPR accepted as well)

Additional Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work the specified schedule and shifts
• CST or TS-C certification
