    Since 2013, Laguna Hills Pathology Lab operates a preeminent, state of the art, anatomic pathology laboratory featuring highly specialized board-certified pathologists.     Laguna Hills Pathology Lab has a full time Histology Supervisor opening at our laboratory located in South San Francisco, California.

    Job Summary :

    The Histology Supervisor helps implement the lab mission, goals and objectives by leading the team towards the short and long term vision, values and goals of the department. The supervisor oversees the histology section in collaboration with the Leadership team - Laboratory Services. They participate in activities like staffing, proficiency testing, competency validation, quality control, testing schedules, problem solving of technical issues and other functions toward the attainment of these goals. The Histology Supervisor is a salaried position, working bench and overseeing the team including Histology Technicians, Grossing Technicians, and Lab Assistants.

    We operate Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with no weekends or late shifts. With two specialized GI Pathologists on-site Monday through Friday, you'll have expert support.     Please note that the current annual wage for this role is between $114,400 - $135,200.

    HT or HTL (ASCP) certified or eligible
    Five years (preferred), minimum of three years, experience as a bench-level histotechnologist
    Meets the education requirements for high complexity testing for grossing
    Prior experience in a supervisory role
