Established in 2002 and headquartered in Paris (FR), Holland Bikes' mission is to introduce the Dutch daily cycling tradition as an alternative and effective means of transportation in and around cities. Today, Holland Bikes is the number 1 provider of bike tours and rentals in France, with over 20 retail and rental points.

In spring 2024, Holland Bikes opened its first location in the United States, located in Brooklyn, NY. This new location provides bike rentals and guided tours in multiple languages. In February 2025, Holland Bikes is opening its second location near Central Park.

Description of the job duties:
As the Front Desk and Store Representative at Holland Bikes, you will handle a variety of tasks that are essential for seamless operations and ensuring an excellent customer experience. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Welcoming and checking in customers
• Distributing bikes and necessary equipment for tours and bike rentals
• Answering phone calls and emails
• Supporting tour guides to ensure timely departures for tours
• Maintaining a clean and organized shop environment

Candidate requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills:

• Amazing hospitality – a warm, approachable manner, great listening skills, and a willingness to facilitate whenever possible
• Excellent social skills – comfortable communicating with people from different countries and cultures
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly – Holland Bikes is a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and we need you to adjust to new challenges each day
• A strong sense of pride in your work – ensuring that our guests have unforgettable experiences is key to your role
• The ability to work independently – you will be responsible for opening and closing the shop on weekends
• Multilingual skills are a huge plus (especially Dutch, German, and French)
