Part Time- 4-5 hour shifts 8am-1pm

Starting Rate: $12.00 per hour

Job Summary:

Holy Angels Residential Facility is in search of a Part Time Resident/Patient Medical Transportation Driver. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with individuals with developmental disabilities and the ability to attend medical appointments with the residents. This is a part time position between 20-25 hours based upon the needs of resident transports/appointments.

Specific Skills and Responsibilities

Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)

Must be able to work between the hours 7am-3pm rotating on a daily basis based on need

Must have good communication skills

Must have an understanding of medical terminology and the ability to communicate with medical staff

3-5 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

Performs all other duties as requested by the Director

Qualifications:

Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license

Must have acceptable MVR

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Work Environment:

Must be able to work with individuals with developmental disabilities

Physical Demands:

Drive, Walk, stand, sit, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, use hands and lift up to 50lbs, 2/3’s of the time
