ComForCare Home Care Washtenaw-Livingston is looking for caregivers, certified nursing assistants (CNA), medical students, and home health aides to help provide clients with care within their home.
If you are able to assist our entire range of clients, are COVID vaccinated, have at least 3 years of experience, and can work a varying range of shifts (includes all types of shifts), you are the person we are looking for!
We are looking for someone that can work a mix of days, afternoons, overnights, weekends, and on-call shifts.
Potential options are full-time and part-time.
Our clients are in Washtenaw and Livingston counties, and you must be willing to travel to the client’s home, or the facility where they reside.
Shifts range from 1-14 hours.

Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $19 (firm) and depends on factors like experience, skillset, and availability. This is base pay and there are also potential incentives for picking up last-minute shifts and special cases.

Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide companionship, conversation and mental engagement.
Provide assistance with daily household/personal care management through daily activities to help clients stay independent, and in their own homes.
Transportation for clients which includes visits to doctor appointments or outings.
Observe and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
Stand by assist to ensure safety for the client.
Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
All listed below are required, and your application will not be considered for this position if you do not meet the requirements.
A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
Previous experience as an in-home caregiver, or in senior communities/facilities. At least 3 years of experience is required.
A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle. Your application will not be considered without this. Documentation will be required and verified before employment begins.
Willingness to go directly to the client’s homes throughout Washtenaw County.
Willing to run errands, drive clients to appointments, or provide transportation. Mileage is covered at $0.55 per mile.
Shift types can vary and include the possibility of days, afternoons, overnights, and weekends. You must be open to all types of shifts. There are other positions posted with more flexibility if you are not open to a mix of shift types.
No barriers to working in a home. This could include pets being in the home and working with all types of clients.
COVID vaccinated is a requirement for this position. Some clients require this, and we have to adhere to their preferences in their homes. There are other positions posted with more flexibility if you are not vaccinated.
