Job Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in accordance with professional standards.
Ventilator Management:
Monitoring and managing patients who require mechanical ventilation.
Adjusting ventilator settings based on patient needs and physician orders.
Troubleshooting ventilator issues and responding to emergencies.
Educating patients and families about ventilator care and use.
Tracheostomy Care:
Performing routine tracheostomy care, including cleaning, changing, and maintaining trach tubes.
Monitoring the condition of the trach site for infection or complications.
Suctioning the airway as needed to clear secretions.
Ensuring proper humidification and airway clearance for patients with tracheostomies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
Active RN or LPN license in the state of Minnesota.
Previous experience in a home health or acute care setting.
Minimum one year of Tracheostomy and Ventilator Experience.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Cleared TB Test or willing to obtain a TB Test Clearance.
Willing to undergo background check.
Reliable Transportation to and from work.
Willingness to work 12-Hour Shifts
